The MFX-1950/2050 is a workgroup multifunction solution that enables users to create high-resolution copies, send and receive faxes, print from a USB-connected PC and scan in color to PC applications.
The device features a simple, two-line LCD that provides clear direction and operational guidance, while the seven program keys allow for effortless, one-touch initiation of complex fax/ copy commands.
An 80-sheet automatic document feeder increases efficiency by not having to separate large fax, copy or scan jobs into multiple sets, while the legal-size platen glass enables the seamless scanning of documents that cannot be scanned through the feeder (carbon papers, identification cards, etc).

-E-mail gateway enables the MFX-1950/2050 to seamlessly connect to a network fax server to enable users a convenient, transparent method of sending hardcopy documents through the fax server (NP405 required)

-Secure reception prevents a received fax from printing until a password has been entered at the control panel
-Department coding restricts machine access until a password has been entered at the control panel. This feature also enables companies to accurately track machine usage for departmental billing.
-Inbound fax routing enables users to forward inbound fax documents to another fax location to prevent unauthorized access to documents when the recipient is away from the machine. With the OB400 installed, users can route inbound fax documents to an e-mail address or PC folder
